Above all arguments over the Eucharist, we must remember that the body and blood we need most was broken and shed for us on the cross. We are saved by grace, through faith, as a gift of God. Hallelujah!

The biggest takeaway for me is that I’m grateful for both these men respectfully discussing such an important issue. Dr Craig has been a tremendous influence on me from a philosophical perspective and Dr Ortlund has been a huge impact on my awareness of Christian history and historic theology. I am grateful for both these men and their ministries. God bless

What an amazing back and forth. I think I was originally in the memorialist camp before listening to Dr. Ortland's appeals to the "real presence" where I moved that way, and after this, I think I'm decidedly in the "I have no clue, but I'm just glad we all love Jesus this much to wonder" camp.

This is exactly how you expect a conversation to go between a philosopher and a historical theologian.

Historical theologian makes an assertion. Philosopher responds, "That doesn't make sense."
Philosopher makes an assertion. Historical theologian responds, "But look at what Anselm says!"

I love all of your videos but I love when you have these discussions with other scholars. You approach them in such a Christlike way, as we all should. This is how we lead others to the truth and should be taken as an example of how to share the Gospel with those who are lost.
