This girl is able to have a crowd dancing one minute and crying the next.. incredible 👏🏻
I'm definitely going to check out more of her stuff. Let me know what to watch below! 💜

"The Hurts You Never Knew" she sang it in Chinese and she doesn't even speak the language, yet she delivered it perfectly and so emotionally. I've seen Chinese comments and they were saying KZ's version was better than the original.

She got eliminated by the way, and just like what other people say, she wasn't there to compete, she was there to have a concert!

KZ is one of the most experimental & skillful Filipino vocalists who deserve global appreciation. Some of her best performances are SAY SOMETHING and SEE YOU AGAIN on The Singer, her duet with Jaya of FEELING GOOD & her collab with The Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez of an ADELE MEDLEY. ❤🧡💛🤍

They say, don't let Kelly Clarkson cover your song .. I say, don't let KZ cover your song because she makes it her own like no other. She's one of a kind because it's not easy to make a super popular song to sound like it's your own song you know. ❤

Mate she sang a song that is not hers and in another language that is not even her native language and made the local people cry.
Her bravery to take up that challenge with the risks going up exponentially in a foreign language is huge!!
The effort and practice to get that spot on (pronunciation, accent etc) would have been insane!

“The hurts you never knew” was a remix done by her. She combined 3 classic chinese ballad songs into one. She learned mandarin only for a week. Imagine how great she is and captured the emotions of the audience thru that song. I teared up too when I first heard the song even if I can’t understand mandarin! When you see her live, she always interact with her band whenever she performs.

Now you know why SB19 wants to put Filipino artists on the global stage. This is the quality of singers we have in the Philippines. No self respecting Filipino artist will ever not sing live on stage.

Before, I thought it was HER CONCERT! I didn't know that it was a bloody competition.

She didn't come to join the contest. She went there to show the world how Filipinos do things.

KZ, for me, was the 1st Pinoy pop singer who wasn't afraid of being unique. She encouraged singers to be artists. Pinoy singers are known to imitate the voices and singing styles of western singers down to the very last adlib. But KZ didn't need to imitate. She owned whatever song she sung which was not popular and encouraged when she started singing. That's why there are so many excellent Filipino singers but few Filipino artists.

The fact that KZ doesn't speak mandarin/chinese ,and being that good to express the song eventhough she didn't speak those languages amazes me more

Until now, I still do not understand how she did not end up winning that freaking competition. She was amazing!!!!

Jessie J was also competing in that show (Singer 2018) along with KZ Tandingan, that's why she was there! Jessie J was declared the winner of Singer 2018!

The fact that she was doubting when she auditioned in X-Factor saying that she can't belt, she has a different way of singing which made her feel like she doesn't belong in the competition. But look at her now! so proud of her!

She's an A'TIN, and invited SB19 on her concert to perform with her.

Her cover of Say Something in that same show gave me goosebumps, she made a song that's already heartbreaking hurt more than the original and I don't know how she did that, her version made me literally cry because of how she did it. in that she made her brother fly from the Philippines to China to play the guitar because she trusts her brother would capture the emotions she wants to convey
