I've heard whistle notes from adults, but I've NEVER seen a child pull one off.. until today! 😅
Thank you for watching guys. Keep sending your videos over on my Instagram & TikTok! 💜

That's it's hard to be a famous singer in the Philippines before. Almost every one knows how to sing.

As a Filipina myself, I don't know why so many Filipinos can sing well. The only reason I can think of is that we indeed love to sing.

PH is a talent powerhouse. The reason why there are so many great  singers, artists are Filipinos dominating global limelights. Its also the reason why the standard is sooo high, and competitions are won by  only the greatest.

Minimal or no vocal lessons required.

Fun fact. Filipinos tend to go to other countries to audtion in singing competitions because its just simply hard to compete in the Philippines.

Usually 95% of Filipino Family there is always one member of the family/clan who can sing nicely.

Just a gentle reminder my fellowmen kababayan, Filipinos LOVE to sing but we are NOT 99% or majority of singers. We LOVE TO SING to the point that its okay if we are out of tune, just average, can carry a tune, or just plain confident. Our karaoke-singing culture is VERY open and encouraging, we love to sing and we love to ask our family/friends to sing their hearts out or sing with us REGARDLESS of the sound of their voice (i mean let's be real, we just sing, enjoy and put our hearts into it). I think it is the spirit of celebration (and alcohol haha) that brings out the singer in every Filipino. And this culture makes the younger generation super open to singing and some of them learned early about their talents/skills through karaoke. But you are also right that in a group of friends or in a family gathering, there would be at least one who could sing like professional and they're not even trained ---- just pure talent, heart, and confidence. And yeah, it's either we cheer for them, stare at them, maybe ignore them since it's nothing new, or just say "Cancel my song, I'm not about to sing after that performance." HAHAHA, peace and love to everyone.
EDIT: I commented this since I've been reading a lot of 99% etcetera etcetera. In my opinion, we think that way because we know how monster a Filipino singer can be when given opportunity, we just know that Philippines is a vocal powerhouse and that we can be as great as the talents outside PH --- we are just so underrated for real.

I am telling you, that whistling tone register when you hear one in a mall here in the Philippines, just check out the appliance section. You would sometimes even see the employees themselves  are the ones singing! The Philippines is a singing country 🇵🇭❤❤️

I'm now 60 yrs old... I remember before when I was 3 or 4 yrs  old... my father put me on top of a table surrounded with relatives and some visitors just to give a song... that's a fililino way of gratitude for coming to our home.

Philippines the land of great singer 🇵🇭🔥🔥

In the Philippines, singing is not just a hobby but a culture identity. It serve as a way of life expresses our history, emotions, and community spirits. ''That's why im proud to be filipino

I’m a filipino, I’ve unconsciously been doing the whistle note ever since I was 6

17:50 the mother is yelling that's my son, that's my son. This is the thing with Filipino karaoke culture we start them young, and we encourage them to sing and have confidence. Have a daughter when she was young, she was not that good in singing but we don't judge but instead encourage her to find her range, tone and eventually her confidence and now she is ready to soar high.

The guy on the boat is ralph salazar. He is a champion singer and famous in Philippines. You can check his videos. He won when he was young

At the wedding: The chair is a silly little joke you need to step up on it so you can reach the highest note 😂😂😂

I think it is because we normalize singing. When I was working in anesthetics my colleagues point out that I sing to myself all the time and I dont even notice it. It is just part of everyday life.

As a Filipino! I’m crying! 😭

Filipino loves to sing so much, I know 5 people who actually passed bursting veins/having heart attack singing passionately. As tragic as it sound they left doing what they love.

In the Philippines, the level to impress a Filipino is now on Whistle Level or of Technically Impressive Vocals so every Filipino in the Philippines try to level on that standard. I think Filipinos are extreme and push the limits.

Very true… Not all Filipinos have a beautiful voice, but who said growling and squeaking is illegal? We don’t care if you sing like letting out gas.  🤣🤣🤣Just sing your soul out even if it brings the house down.  Everybody’s welcome to have fun and enjoy the party. We enjoy listening to the brilliant singers same as those with all confidence and zero talent. 👌🏻😂😂😂
