Sacramento is SORELY lacking any place to buy NEW CDs. I don’t really get the whole LP thing but I’m glad people like them, would give almost anything to have any place that carries new and non-mainstream CDs. I’ve had to mail order everything or go out of town ever since Dimple bailed on us.
Thanks for the tour JT. You are still the king of store tours. Looks like they moved since I last shopped there. New location is much bigger. Nice finds.
Kicksville is a awesome store. I've been going there for the last few years. I always score some killer albums and 45's there. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable there. You got some great scores from there!
Great name for a record store ‘Kicksville’, I love that. The store looked brilliant JT. They had quite a collection of albums by The Fall. Ended up with some nice pick ups JT. Mike
Awesome trip, JT! I have that Tina Brooks Complete Blue Note Sessions on Mosaic Box Set in the glass case when you first walked in the shop. Local boys from Pasadena, very cool title. I’m a huge Sinatra fan too. Beautiful mono titles you picked up!
I really like those 45s. I especially like the Ozzy fold out. I don't have that one. You got a great deal on the Frank Sinatra titles. All of those albums are excellent.
Nice video, JT. That looked a cool store. The BBC Prine looked interesting. The Sudden Death album has such a striking cover. I gave it a listen on Spotify… nice fuzzy, hard rock with a doomy vibe. Fugit Orchard is a cool track. You can definitely hear the Sabbath vibe. Nice pickups JT 👌
Hey JT, Nice to see that footage.I have a Silver Apples record (a repress). It's truly interesting music. If I see anything else by them, I would grab it!
