Toni, I absolutely lost it at the printer through the dinosaur age, top tier editing!

I did like watching this sitting down and planning the project video.

HOWEVER.

It had a devastating lack of Misty. She IS the main character afterall.

If you use the two Ikea drawer things on each side of the wooden desktop, you can put the file cabinet under the window.  Then you could use the desk space between the 3D printer and the other thing as a work surface. Just a thought.

I actually like this video. You sat down and showed a few clips but also shared your screen so we can see what you're going for. Next video would be the diy I'd assume. So I vote yes on the video and ppl don't care about your feelings hun. Natural ass hats is 80% of the world.

Holy smokes girl do you ever sleep? I’m so amazed at your energy and the projects you tackle. I was cheering when those bookcases fit score.

I give my husband the same smile when I get new/old things for our house!

What about a shelf running across the top of the book cases? You would have more storage for any items that need put away, but not used that often.

Move file cabinet under window. Two ikea cabnets under wood (as desk) gives you space in between to sit down and work if wanted. Also long peice of wood on top of bookshelfs for more storage.

If you have run out of space because you  have more hobbies, you are doing it right!

The room concept looks really nice, but I noticed some practicality issues, first one is the peg board behind the machines are blocked. Secondly, I'd find a different home for the lateral file because you'll need way more storage for your crafting supplies... so looking at it, I'd consider that whole wall your "crafting area" and dedicate it all to that.  For some creative ideas: you can make a bridge between the bookcases with cubbies with or without doors, the top area would be storage for less used items (not first order retrievability as Adam Savage would call it), and you can attach a piece of plywood on the wall and then you can mount whatever you want without worrying about a zillion holes to patch later... That can be your tool/accessory wall. Have you considered a French cleat wall?  Some people love them, others not so much, but I am in the "love them" camp and I have them in my workshop and indoor work area and I like making custom tool organizers... there's a lot of DIY goodness, they're fun to make, and allows you flexibility  beyond a pegboard.

I think you should paint the ikea drawers the same color as the walls. It might look better and be easier than trying to match the color of the wood pieces!

I love all your videos.  My suggestion is to put the large file cabinet on another wall with printer on top of it.  If you have 2 of the Ikea drawers put them one on top of the other and use them to store the yarn, maybe by colour.  Keep up the great work!

If you do the decorative shelves above the printers like in the video, you don't really need the ikea peg boards.  I would only add the peg boards if you plan to use the organizers that are available with the peg boards or make your own.    I also would consider putting the filing cabinet under the window, can't tell for sure from the angle of the video if that would work well.  It would open up space under the built in shelf between the book cases put the 2nd set of ikea drawers.  So many options and good ideas, can't wait to see it all come together.

I love this kind of video!!! Please keep them comming!!

Loved watching the inside of your brain Tiff...its cosy in there. ❤

If I may suggest, I wouldn't put the filing cabinet in the middle because beside the ikea drawers it is too different and too wide. I would move it under the window or beside the door and get a second ikea drawers to create your desk like the Pinterest image. You could also create a wool cubby for on top of the filing cabinet from left over wood you have if you put it beside the door.

Definitely it helps others like me figure out how to update my home.

Looks great and will be so much more functional for you both 😊

Enjoyed the video very much Tiff. Thanks for sharing.
