I believe they didnt want Charon to die. But maybe Lance wants his character dead because he will die soon because of his sickness. RIP Lance

If looks could kill, Winston would have killed the Marquis on the spot. Of course, he isn't foolish enough to go up against that man so he manipulated the Marquis to be killed by John Wick with no retribution to himself. That's what makes Winston a chessmaster.

In that moment I never wanted someone to meet John Wick more than this man.

Charon did not deserve to be killed off. Rest in peace to him and Lance Reddick.

Marquis is hedonistic, he prides himself with the overindulgence of fine cuisine. A villain who relishes in the luxurious lifestyle he’s inherited. Very materialistic.

The Marquis doesn't believe in second chances...except that he does...when It comes to himself. Rich people never want to give people they consider below them second chances, while they woul not be in the position of power that they have without being given second chances in the first place.

The way he moved his eyes from Winston to Charon after Charon requested to state his own opinion was like, oh yeah, he gonna kill this guy fr.

the marquis' wardrobe. I don't know if I like it or dislike it.

Bill Skarsgard really did well with this Marquis character. Normally, such a larger than life villain would be played by an older and veteran actor. I was impressed by his performance.

I love the fact the Marquis makes no hesitation, New York is finished. Just non chalantly mixes his espresso while Winston expects a quid pro quo...and ends up losing a concierge instead. Chad move showing Winston the only thing he has ever held is the illusion of power the high table deemed necessary.

The Marquis was a good villain. He didn't fk around UNTIL the very end for plot reasons. The story would've been very different if he was appointed as Marquis in the first movie or so.
