Some of the black female podcasters  report being verbally attacked and called the most vile names because they support Caitlin Clark. Unfortunately I think a lot of whatever negativity Kelsey Mitchell and other black teammates get is of a similar nature. Looking back on life I'm so glad I grew up in a generation where social media didn't exist
I was told growing up that I should feel privileged that I was white that I was tall that I was thin because that's what everybody wants specifically the last two
Yet on the flip side at times I was ridiculed for being tall or for being thin
Even though I didn't always agree with the ways my dad raised me I'm so thankful that he disciplined me because it made me a stronger person
To the point where I was able to handle the criticisms and yes it took me getting a little older to truly understand that listening to other people that don't know you and the shoes that you walked in don't deserve the right to affect how you see life and how you live your life
