What I like about this show is that every episode is the best episode of the series until you watch the very next episode.

The saddest part of Scott and Kip's story in episode 3 is that neither of them is doing anything *wrong*. You can't fault Kip for wanting to be out and proud of his relationship, and you can't fault Scott for not being ready. Like, this isn't a relationship that breaks apart because someone was unfaithful or unkind to the other. They're just in two different places and it's really hard to watch two people who are good to and for each other not be together through no real "fault" of their own.

The women were written so beautifully in this series.

“He deserves sunshine; and so do you” 🥺

When Kip’s dad calls him “my boy” 😭

What I love about Scott Hunter is that he's this Greek God who is awkward AF and has absolutely no game. You get a sense that he's never had to or been able to flirt being in the closet.

His "is this too much?" speech hit hard because you get a sense he's so lonely in the closet and being emotionally vulnerable and open laying it out on the table whilst still giving Kip an out.

Also Rachel Reid made Ilya’s jersey number 81 because in block numbers she says it looked like “Bi” 😂

The environment around Kip gets progressively darker the longer he has to hide his relationship with Scott. Jacob Tierney did so much with such simple symbolism.

Francois and Robbie deserve all the praise and love for their roles as Scott and Kip. Francois has been in a lot of underrated or unseen projects over the last two decades.

All the flowers go to Jacob Tierney for this episode. He took Rachel's 300 page novel and condensed it down to this one episode without losing a drop of emotion. He personally adapted the series and wrote every script. 🌻🌻🌻🌻

love the fight scene - "you are starting to sound like him!" "ooh. hold my earrings."

Re: your question about if they intentionally hired actors with perfect bodies - for Scott's actor at least, he was primarily hired for his talent and handsomeness, and then spent a bunch of time working out harder than he ever had before, in order to achieve that insanely athletic build. He said in an interview that "I wanted to look like I'd never picked up a book in my life!" :)

This show is so special to me as a Russian queer girl with conservative family. Love Iliya so much

I love this episode soooo much!
It’s so rare to see adult relationships where both parties are decent people that are open and honest with each other about their feelings and needs ♥️♥️♥️

12:07 I appreciate the excellent timing of“it’s nice to see the perspective of someone not in sports” before smash cutting to Robbie G.K.’s perfectly fit, rugby-toned body.
