The Oracle really tested my patience this time around. Between the pacing and the amount of time spent in cutscenes, this mission just felt like it dragged.
I'm not hating my return to Halo 2, though. If anything, replaying these older games has been interesting because some of my old opinions are changing while others are apparently surviving just fine.
Ironically, I used to think Halo 4 had some of the worst mission design and pacing in the series. Maybe by the time I'm done revisiting Halo 2, I'll have some reevaluating to do there too.
For now, though... The Oracle and I need some time apart.
