For thoes who are not "lore people", this is like picturing somthing in your mind for 20 years then suddenly seeing it in 4k.

“So I fight for a Father who I never loved, against a brother that I did. I defend an empire that never wanted me against an army that would have taken me in a heartbeat.”

"We make ready for a war that may never end."
That's just being pessimistic, Constantin. It's not Iike in the grim darkness of the future, there is onIy war.

Whats crazy to think about is the Emperor is alive and well at this time.

This is the only way Warhammer can be done properly. CGI. Otherwise you can’t fully capture all the grand scale of 40k
The animators here did an incredible job.. THIS is what I want to see more of.

I did not expect to see Malcador here, it is so good to see one of the Imperium's greatest heroes! For the Emperor!

Constantin, Jenetia Krole and Malcador the Hero all in one animation? Truly blessed.

I absolutely love the detail of the clinking armor as the Sister of Silence signs to Constantin.

Salamanders AND Iron Warriors? Mah boys out here gettin some representation! 🤘

“I never wanted this…”
Well, Horus my boy, I certainly did…

A Horus Heresy animation series with this kind of quality is something I really hope I get to see before I die.
I'll settle for a feature length film, but theres no way you could ever do more than like 5% of the heresy in a single film, even that is too optimistic. I'll also settle for it coming out once I've been interred in a dreadnought, after I die. AS LONG AS I SEE IT

13 comments and all from bots, the Imperium did good by getting rid of the AI.

So nice to Malcador. Such a great hero

We deserve an animated series with the whole story told at this level! Nothing is better than this! Wonderful!

Malcador being given voice lines and a physical presence on screen is crazy

By the Emperor, MORE of what I just watched please. Hot DAMN what a time to be a Warhammer fan.

The duality of highly loyal to their father/creator but still being able to think similarly to a primarch.

That Sister of Silence sign language was so fucking cool, i have an idea of how its done in my head from the books but seeing it animated like that and so quick to understand was very enjoyable.

I love the fact that the first sentence of the cinematic begin by "i was there"

Valdor the first Custodian has seen it all ,had to deal with the Thunder Warriors and then the Traitor Legions dude is an absolute beast . Same size as a Primarch which is ridiculous
