Why can't others be happy that the bride found "her perfect dress?" This was the reason I brought no one with me when I was wedding dress shopping. MY OPINION was the only one that counted.

Exactly how is a $6k budget anywhere close to $7300 not Inc alterations? “Perfect” dress or not it’s extremely disrespectful to the bride and whoever is paying to not honor the budget. Why bother asking then?

I get it. She has a certain style that she likes, which is the first dress, but her sister lead her to the same style but with a little more flair. Looks like her sister knows the bride.

Why such a large entourage to choose a dress.  Your future in-laws have nothing to do with your dress

For my daughter we went to an all women owned locally owned store. They limit it to 4 extra people to avoid the drama. We got to go through and pull the dresses within budget. The one we all fell in love with was under budget so there was extra for the alterations.

Her friends are not there to support her. This this woman could be divorced and married two times over by now because this has been 20 years, but the dress looked beautiful on her. She’s a beautiful young woman. She looked fabulous and everything, and these women aren’t there to support her. I wish that brides would just go by themselves and trust their instinct because she looks absolutely stunning. She’s a beautiful girl. She’ll look gorgeous in anything but you wanna have that dress that’s gonna sparkle her personality.

This is back when they had to stick a belt on every damn dress, cutting them all off at the waist. Glad I haven't seen that so much anymore.

Why do brides have to go by the opinions of others you know darn well your best friend who sitting there you may think she’s your ride or die but do you really think that she’s gonna let you look beautiful on your wedding day? Not every friend is a good friend. And sometimes the people closest to you are the ones that wanna hurt you the most. She didn’t have any intentions of of course it’s 50 years from now.

Imagine the dress budget if she had not spent all that money to travel to ny

When we went with my daughter her friend and I fully supported her any advice was constructive eg in if the first strapless she tried on which she liked could be done for a large breastedlady which it couldn't without showing way more than she'd want

I think these brides got onto the show for the store to have living models to display the dresses the store has.
