In this episode we look at the EGR and blanking it off effectively. We'll show you what is involved with fitting a blanking plate and the parts that are involved. There is always an alternative to fitting the plate on the 300tdi engine and we show you how. Only at LRTV!!!

The oil in the manifold is coming from either the turbo seals or the crankcase ventilation feed.

Excellent video. Question for you: is it possible to adapt cruise control tu a 2008 DEFENDER SW ?

@fshawthornman4426 8 years ago

Sadly law changed May 2018. Blanks, bypasses and emulators are now a Fail regardless of when fitted. Down to how good/bad/blind the tester is

GREAT VIDEO, thank you! however I have one question, in the part of the video 9:59 you have mentioned the oil in the inlet of the turbo.... What might be the problem if the oil is in the inlet of the turbo please? thank you.

hello , i want to blank off the EGR of my discovery 3 2007 , is it obligatory to make remapping on the ECU? , if not m that could effect bad on the engin ?

@0xBACA 11 years ago

Did you find where the oil is coming from? I noticed the same issue with my 300tdi when I was blanking the EGR. Oil in inlet manifold.. source unknown.
