It wasnt the mountain that killed the influencers, it was their arrogance and stupidity that killed them, sadly 😢.

It really sounds like the sherpas want to keep the climbers alive, while the company really wants them dead

The power of ignorance, youthful delusions of invulnerability, and greed knows no limit.

They all died of a very common condition known as S.A.N.S. (Suicidal Arrogant Narcissist Syndrome)

I can’t imagine how the sherpas must dread when they are assigned to clients like the influencers.

These are the kind of people that irritate me most and are everything wrong with society. I have zero sympathy for any of them. I feel awful for the Sherpas and others affected by these attention seeking entitled morons

It would be better to have a person read this instead of a computer.

Future climbers should be required to demonstrate the ability to fold a $70k poker hand before even getting their application glanced at.

Alyssa Brennen and Jess Calloway must have been the most discreet climbers of 2017. Not a single team, guide, or Sherpa seems to remember them

Modern society is so baby proofed, it gives most people this sense of security that permeates deeply into their consciousness.
Life and death are alien concepts to most people.

It seems to me that influencers do not understand the basic concept of objective reality, kind of like thinking that skating on ice now and then qualifies you for olympic figure skating.

I think mount Everest needs to be closed immediately until it revived from all the abuse it's suffering

I'd never climb Everest, even if I knew I could do it and had unlimited money.  The idea of watching other people do things that caused their deaths, or possibly even the deaths of their guides, is too terrifying.  Walking around people struggling, in danger of dying?  It wouldn't be worth it just to stand on top of a really tall mountain, though I'm sure it's a remarkable experience.

Smart phones take more lives than cancer.

‘Hey it’s Alex …’ No. it’s a clanker that’s been told it should call itself Alex

I wonder what Expedition Agency these women had used because I can guarantee that if it was Russel Brice's, they would never been allowed on the mountain, he always asks what mountains you have climbed to get a sense of what altitude you can safely climb, he'll even ask you to put on crampons, in short, he will check to see if you're skilled enough to climb, if not, he will literally tell you to get the fuck off the mountain as you have no business there and he's not gonna risk his sherpas lives due to your ignorance. Russel Brice is a very well-known figure at Everest and cares more about getting you to summit safely than filling his pockets, he's also the 1st guy to make climbers have radios and check in at certain locations.

'I'm special' - Two days later - 'Oh - I'm dying'. Yikes.

Really have to feel sorry for the generations of people who place so much of their sense of self-worth and dignity in the hands of strangers who will forget them before next week. Shocking how many of these interloper mountaineers manage to kill or maim a Sherpa or two when things go south.

Aliens watching all of it would think humans are crazy.

Suffering from terminal stupidity
