I'm Currently playing with my son, I thought the crossover with him being better than me would take longer, but he runs rings around me. he even came to my aid several times... :(( the days of me pretending to be a good gamer and getting away with it are well and truly over.

With the hours I have in this game I don't need this tutorial, but will still watch to support one of my favourite 7dtd YouTubers.

I've got 777 hours played but I'm still gonna watch for fun :D

PVP Tips
- Upgrade Lucky Looter / Stamina / Jumping first..
- Bow/Arrow is OP early game with sneaking. Sledge Hammer is OP melee weapon and guns are best vs players. If used on Z's then players will hear the gunfire and hunt you down.
- Never build on the surface. Make a base underground and seal each time you go in and out with the same ground type as is on the surface or people will find it.
- When covering your hole, make sure the ground is flat, or someone will find it and raid it
- Do not use a land claim box to protect  your base because it will do the opposite. People hunt claims and will raid you. Its best to stay hidden at least the early few days of gameplay.
- Learn how to farm and setup dew collectors underground. Its the only way to do it without getting everything raided/stolen.
- Its good to use Assassin gear at start and be silent when crouching so other players don't hear you.

Please keep up this serious. I'm sure there are plenty like me who want to jump in.

Me and my cousin got this game last night, we invested 6 hours straight of kinda aimlessly looting and discovering the games mechanics, understanding the skilling and pretty much all the little odds and ends. We're about to be on day 7 and have no idea whats about to ensue onto us, but i do know that I'll probably stop watching stuff after this one and only video for now. Learning everything organically has been an absolute blast. It was funny when we looked at the clock to realize we had been nose deep for 6 hours straight. Games just dont do that anymore for us, so im thoroughly looking forward to playing some more. 😂

Use the loot/break/loot technique for random trash piles. You'll get lots of extra paper and polymers.

Dont forget about the fortitude perk, there's a perk that negates infection from zombies when you punch them in the head! Very helpful if you aren't lucky with finding honey

Ah prebuilt the Bob Ross of 7dtd

Half an hour ago. Destiny wanted me to watch this asap.

I like this video. It's like a shorter form version of the 1.0 survival guide but simplified. A playlist of these sort of videos would be very helpful.

A tip for early game honey gathering: the torch seems to one-shot all bee swarms, at least on regular difficulty. The burning shaft mod works the same way. :)

after not playing 7 days for about 4 years, this video was awesome! thank you sm!

Thank you. Just re-downloaded it and can’t wait to jump back in.

Also a tip for new players.

Wooden spikes and hatches our super effective for helping you deal with zombies. Spikes are easier to use, but you won't get the xp If the spike kills them. hatches, just slow them down if you place them in doorways and allow you to kill them. I recommend spikes.

If you're in a pinch, slap some cotton plants. Pretty easy to collect 150ish cotten and you can sell them for a quick golden rod tea. Drink murky water to fill up and drink the tea to cure any dysentery.

You forgot :
Make sure to approach zombies on full North ,East, South and West direction to keep the pathing of the zombies straight and keep them from sidestepping diagonally

Fun facts and tidbits are always appreciated, they help optimize my early game which leads to an easier and earlier late game.

That office chair info wqs actually elite ball knowledge,  thanks

Im too embarrassed to say how many hours I have but rest assured iv watched all your tips the best 👌 imo
