Thank you for adding this historical awareness of the African diaspora along with the people's adaptability and creativity!

Some ethnic groups are so extraordinarily inventive and creative!!! Always filled with a New expression..in arts crafts music dance poetry writing science spiritual expression...and on and on for many many centuries..more than they are given credit for! Their experiments and soul filled creations from their inner life is copied and copied world wide for centuries....And Yet they are oppressed and held back and stifled and given a history that is just that an invented story. The Entire World is a more vibrant and upbeat and intensely beautiful place because of their sacrifice. May we All come to love one another and give credit and real praise ..not academic study papers...but joyful and true and respectful celebration and full acknowledgement of Another Way of Doing Things!
Peace and Respect to these Ladies and their Jazz!

July 25th, 2025. This is my first time watching your video. Albeit seven 7 years later. Kathryn from k3n.Clothtales, and Margaret (Fabrizio) guided me here. Beautiful quilts! So much variety (and yes, I can see the differences in each quilt, so much of their personalities shine through each one). Oh, and the colours ❤ thank you so much for sharing the work of these ladies ❤ they are stunning! I have saved your post so I can watch it again and again.

Hello sir

Great insight!  Blessings...

Hello

No piz

What kinds of fabric are used in the quilts. What type of fabric is chosen for the quilt backing?

I was sad to see this white Dr as the voice of AA history at a college, but at least he acknowledges there was a true history of rebellion and pushback against bondage worldwide, at least that was made clear!
