The Entire History of the United States: American Revolution, Founding Fathers & How America Became a Superpower (US History Documentary)
Learn the full history of America, from the first Native American societies and Columbus to the American Revolutionary War, the Civil War, World War 2, the Cold War and 9/11, in one complete US history documentary.
📖 OVERVIEW
In December 1776, a half-starved army of farmers and shopkeepers rowed across the icy Delaware River to attack the most powerful empire on earth. If they failed, the revolution was over. This video tells the full story of how 13 British colonies fought for independence, won it, and grew into a global superpower.
We start with the first peoples of North America, including the Mississippian culture, the Pueblo and the Iroquois Confederacy. Then we follow the European explorers and colonists: Leif Erikson, Christopher Columbus, Jamestown, the Dutch and the French. From there we cover the road to revolution: the French and Indian War, the Stamp Act, the Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party, Lexington and Concord, the Declaration of Independence, Saratoga and the victory at Yorktown. We finish with the Constitution, the Louisiana Purchase, westward expansion, the Civil War, both World Wars, the Cold War, the Space Race, civil rights and the modern United States.
