Great Video.  Very clear.  
A few more suggestions:  1) There is an orifice INSIDE the main jet tube near the bottom.  It is the smallest one in the carb and the easiest to get clogged.  Even when it is clean, you cannot see thru it!  Suggest cleaning with a small guitar string (E string), shoved thru the orifice and all the way thru the tube and out the other end, then worked around for good measure. 2) you don't need carb cleaner - any light hydrocarbon in a spray can with decent pressure and a "straw" will do.  WD-40 works great, as it is low-viscosity and the straw is permanently attached.  Carb cleaner is only necessary if you are dissolving gunk (varnish, etc.), and then you need to let it soak 3) After cleaning the main jet inner orifice with the guitar string, finish with the WD-40.  Put the straw in the bottom end of the jet, cover all other openings with your finger(s), and spray till you can see the WD coming out the side orifices in the main jet.  You will often see the spray pattern start uneven, then clear up.  You get to actually see the main jet in action!  4)  In the top carb on a BF50, there is an 1/8" hole with channels that go to the bowl drain and a pick-up tube.  That hole is an excellent place for dirt to hide, and then float back up when you hit the first wave.  Same with the inside of the main jet screw cap.  Make sure to clean these thoroughly.

I have also done this job too many times on a pair of honda BF40s. It is the concensus that non-ethanol gas seems to help, but this does not protect completely. I have had gummed up honda carbs using non-ethanol gas too. Even though I ran my motors regularly, if the gas was older than about 6 months, one is at risk of the carbs gumming up. Big pain in the arse. After 15 years of dealing with this problem, I think best available the protection (short of buy a pair of fuel injected motors) is to know how much gas you need for next few months and only put that in the tank. Run the motors regularly, weekly if possible, and put fresh fuel in regularly. Many people swear by their Honda outboards, I have spent more time swearing at them!

Well, I have a comment.  Those bowl screws are not Philips.  They are JIS (common on Japanese small engines), which is close in design, but far enough off that they will strip easily with a Phillips.  A small set of vice grips grabbing the sides of the screw is best for breaking these free.  These carbs have lots of room to allow for this.  A Philips can then be used to finish removing/installing them.

Good information! During a deep cleaning, the slow jet emulsion tubes on my carburetors were also found to be cracked at the bottom. This is unfortunately an expensive part but necessary and so replaced.. Personally, I use a 1/4 inch ratchet wrench with a good fitting flathead bit for the jets. No hassle with slipping resulting in damaged jets.
