Mrs. Deagle is a big reason why greed is a deadly sin.

Cutting everyone one of these was the right call. Great movie.

It is revealed that a lot of the residents of Kingston Falls lost their jobs due to the fact that Mrs. Deagle closed down a factory in the town and that the people who lost their jobs couldn't afford to pay their house payments, and so Deagle took advantage of that by making the bank foreclose on all of their mortgages.

All these scenes should have been included in the final film. Am surprised Joe Dante never released an extended cut.

Thank you so much for posting these scenes! I feel like these lost scenes make the final film more complete. Gremlins is obviously a great film, but the version we have today definitely feels a little bit rushed.

I know a lot of movies have to cut out scenes and people are absolutely fine with it but honestly for this movie and maybe even the second movie (to an extent) I would've been absolutely fine with the deleted scenes being kept in. I wish there was an extended cut. Maybe one day but it'll probably never happen
