I started playing minecraft right around the time they added villagers. I remember when the ender dragon health bar said "Boss health". When mossy cobblestone was one of the rarest build blocks you could have. Time really flies man

They put in a lot of effort for the April Fools updates just to remove them days later. Wish things could stay

None of these are "removed" and the "why" wasn't explained at all

You made me realize how long it's been since I've properly played Minecraft. I don't recognize half these structures.

Ngl I would prefer having exposed strongholds, picture this you're a new player and found a stronghold and the unfinished portal, curiosity kicks in

5:17 Ah, I remember when there was wool. Since wool was hard to find for bedding in the past, I would find a pyramid and gather wool from there to make a bed.Classic red bed. I was upset when they replaced it with clay.

The bug that made 30% of villages abandoned was quite annoying. Took a VERY long time to find a village in my Minecraft world, and when I finally did (three abandoned by my house, had to go very far away to find a good one), I made a Nether hotspot to get there quickly. It’s now my main village, but I do have a few others now.

I remember when they first added jungle temples and desert pyramids. It felt like it'd been so long since the last "big" update, everyone was super hype because it felt like Jeb was expanding on the adventure side of the game in a way notch really hadn't.

Anyone remember the small villager house that has the rooftop thing with the fence? and the house that the floor is made out of dirt

The xbox editions weren’t included, but the castle and Minecraft logo with the hidden nether portal in the Tutorial World were so iconic and a staple of my childhood
