Leonardo da Vinci is simply one of the most remarkable human beings to ever live.

Although he is credited as one of, if not the most influential painter of all time, he was also a genius inventor, a mathematician, astronomer, and musician. One look through his notebooks will show you just how infinitely curious of a mind he had. But what did Leonardo look like?

Today we’ll talk about his history and then reveal our recreation of The Renaissance man, Leonardo da Vinci, so let’s go ahead and get started

Can’t believe that was only a 30min presentation. I was so immersed from start to finish that I felt like I was on a time travel journey. Becca and Andre, you’re a dream team, always bringing us a holistic view of your subjects life. I think Leonardo would be pleased.

Leonardo da Vinci was described by his contemporaries as a very handsome, elegant, and charismatic man. He was considered one of the most attractive personalities of his time.

I didn't think your recreations could get even more informative and illuminating. This one absolutely took my breath away. It felt like I could almost reach out beyond the centuries and touch his face! So artfully done and so beautiful! ❤

I like the idea that the self portrait is exaggerating his features and perhaps even implying how Leonardo felt about his appearance as an older man.

One quote I heard that was from Leonardo on his deathbed was " I have failed God and mankind for doing so little with my life" something changed in me that day because if a man like Leonardo Da Vinci can say that, a renaissance virtuoso, I realised I was doing so little with the life have been gifted.

The young version really looks like any Italian boy. It’s wild how anyone could be capable of such genius.

I always liked that François I did not pressure Leonardo da Vinci to do anything. It was enough to have this famous genius in France for the king and for Leonardo it was the kind of retirement that suited him.

Leonardo was arguably the greatest mind in all of human history.

I remember reading memoirs from the period and whenever Leonardo was mentioned he was described as very handsome, very witty and as a gifted musician.

I wish I could understand why this brings me to tears (but not in a bad way).

Your modern version brings tears to my eyes - again! I've watched this before but never fail to be mesmerized by the talent and creativity brought to us through your work. Thank you both.

WOW. When you made Young Leonardo walk towards the camera... Just wow.

I think you've once again surpassed yourselves, both in documentary and recreation.

Leonardo da Vinci has been my idol for years. His genius was so diverse, it's hard not to think of him in a spiritual sense. How great to see him come alive before our eyes. Thank you, I enjoyed every minute of this!
