Today in Dune Awakening, Survival Bob is FINALLY building the ornithopter! We craft the thrusters, the scan module and all four wings, slap it together up on the roof and take her for a spin, with some glide and boost flying tips along the way. Then we head out to the Eastern Shield Wall to pop a probe and scout for the perfect base location: lots of minerals, ground car access, and up high so we can fly right out of it.
Then we kick off a brand new base build in Dune Awakening single player using the Sardaukar building set from the new Filmic Archive DLC! We drop an advanced sub-fief and staking units, dodge a sandstorm, loot a wreck full of flame guys, and build out a Sardaukar garage, balcony, roof towers and an ornithopter landing area. We even move the whole base with the base tool, decorate the interior with the Sardaukar decorations, and rock the Caladan Stormcoat while we're at it. If you're looking for Dune Awakening base building ideas, this is a look at my whole messy process!

(I've been building bases in Dune for a couple of days now, and they all end up looking the same. Stacked Boxes!!)😂
The best part of this series so far, for me personally, has to be that you haven't rushed towards anything, and I really appreciate that.
I was going to finish the faction mission so I could start Landsraad, but now I need to get this dlc and make a new forever base as those pieces are awesome.
So fav part of the series for me? Receiving subliminal messages from Bob to get the game!! Plus the explanations as you've adventured, that's really helped me learn the game. Cheers Bob
