Jacob's Well has claimed the lives of experienced divers who ventured too deep into its flooded caverns — and parts of it have remained completely unexplored for decades.

Now, an underwater drone has finally gone where no human could safely go, descending past the point where every previous expedition was forced to turn back.

What the cameras captured in the deepest chambers left the research team completely silent.

This footage reveals something hidden in the darkness that no one expected to find at the bottom of one of America's most dangerous dive sites.

Watch until the end — because what the drone discovered down there changes what we thought we knew about this place forever.
