He was sensational in Witness for the Prosecution.  A peerless actor and master of his craft.

Such a complexed man. Such an OUTSTANDING actor.

As a 55 year old man, only in the past 3-4 years have I come to realise what a giant of acting he was, at a time when most actors over-acted. In particualr, I love Witness For The Prosecution,

Tortured or no...He gave us exquisite characters and a delight of fun and fear.

How wonderful to hear more from Elsa L. What a classy intelligent sensitive woman

Brando was in awe of Laughton, describing him as a spirit that exudes human emotions and transcends them into masterworks of film.

One of the best. Acting is not about looks, brilliant in Hobson’s choice and Spartacus, voice poise and majestic brilliance

Just watched Charles Laughton in “Hobson’s Choice.”  He was brilliant, and the film is a jewel.

Anyone with eyes like those could never be ugly!

He could play any role and gave 10/10 in all his performances.

Charles Loughton...always unmisable, always brilliant... always memorable.

The very very best..just adored his work.

He had to be what he was ,to act as he did
Wonderfully .

An actor of pure genius , thank you Mr Laughton

I'm astounded by the command of the English language that all these contributors have.
This is sadly lacking today.

Charles Laughton was the greatest actor of all time.

Elsa is wonderful in this.   Her grimace when describing the feather in Henry VIII’s hat says it all! ❤️

He was GREAT in Spartacus  '..give em a taste of Roman steel..'.

I love Jamaica inn ! Watch late at night in the dark !

Only charles laughton could have accomplished these challenging roles. Especially in the hunchback of notre dame and as william bligh and henry viii. Seasoned and brilliant.
