Full pricing on digital games is already shady as hell.

@seanhuff3868 6 months ago

Dynamic pricing should be illegal.

@TheThird1977 6 months ago

Digital games being the same price (or higher) than physical versions is a piss-take already, and this is just a skittery shite in the clogged toilet of consumerism.

Corporate greed at its finest.

Meanwhile at Steam. You bought this game years ago and a sequel just released. Here's a bundle deal with a discount for only what you don't own already.

This is illegal in the EU. Like, literally illegal.

As someone with a disc drive and have friends who also bought PS5's with it. I can only imagine how crushing this must feel to the people without the option. We mostly figured, we'd save way more by just sharing our games when we meet up every few months. Never imagined it would give us an escape from this kind of madness too

They're trying to make line go up no matter how scummy? I'm shocked. Shocked i tell you!

@Duffle516 6 months ago

I'm only morbidly curious to see how this plays out

Dynamic pricing rarely works in consumers' favor

Fucking disgusting from Sony thinking your getting a deal then you sign in to buy them and it's costing more

Instantly regretting spending 140 on a wwe game 😂 they’ll think I can actually afford everything

Even grocery stores do this, your membership card is a way of tracking your shopping habits and send you targeted coupons for products you’re likely to purchase.

People will still be like:: "This game is expensive as hell adds to cart ... I am disgusted at this business practice adds dlc/bundle to cart ... What are companies thinking? gifts friend the game ..."

@adamfrazer5150 6 months ago

I've always been surpised (/not) that I pay full price for a physical copy (for the cheap plastic and paper epilepsy warning) while digital purchasers get ZERO discount for helping cut down the delivery/printing/burning costs 😳

It's terrifying to see how much of what MS tried with XOne is creeping on the industry now. In hindsight they were not wrong, just to early.

i haven't trusted any corporation in years...they only exist to extract as much money from your wallet as possible...sometimes the product is worth the price, some times it isn't...that's a decision that you, as a potential customer, must decide for yourself
