"34 hours! That's short for an RPG, but... that's long for somebody with a life." This just became my favourite ever Dunkey quote. It's painfully true.
The real crime is navigating Luigi's battle menu with A, but timing attacks with B. Should have been B like in the previous games. They did not use Luigi logic on that one!
I love how they weren’t afraid to take a dark turn with the story. Especially when Mario and Luigi commit the ultimate taboo of Alchemy: Human Transmutation.
I already predict that Dunky will occasionally drop a Black Ops 6 reference every month or so for a full year until the next Call of Duty release in 2025 where he'll finally reveal it finished installing and nobody's playing playing it anymore.
I actually liked the tutorial in this one, because it was less tedious. In all the previous games, combat is halted so somebody can explain how you attack. Then it's halted again to explain how you attack with more damage. Then it's halted again to explain how you dodge. Then it's halted again to explain how you counterattack. Then it's halted again to explain how enemies telegraph their attacks. thankfully, Brothership explains all of this in the first battle. Much better than when I was a baby playing Mario games.
