OMG 😂I love the map. Brought back some great memories

I pull over and let people pass a lot.

gets slow in mountains but really just burn through a lot more gas to gear down, and slow for highway, worth it for the fun ride.

Funny, My name is Martin and you were riding in back yard. Watching this cause i'm stuck between the monkey and the grom. Monkey looks better.

I ride a Honda Grom in Germany. Lovely bike for a downsized old guy and I am seriously thinking of buying a Monkey.
The Grom has the same poor gear linkage.
I replaced my linkage with precision sealed ball end fittings with a bit if M6 threaded rod between.
Unfortunately a little more is required. Remove the 2 leavers and you will see the holes where the old rod located are way too big.
Get these holes welded closed and Re-drill to 6mm. When you reassemble everything you will think you have a brand new gearbox.
Considering this upgraded  cost me less than €£$.10 I wonder why Honda cut a pointless corner with the bit of bent rod.
Seriously. A 5mm bent rod in 7mm holes is shameful

I have heard that some people have had some noise/ grind on 5th. Have you experienced this or any other issues as you put more miles on? Thanks Martin.

Why do people who use kilometers still say mileage? Shouldn't it be something like kilometage? 🤔
