IMPORTANT: Butler will take 8 hits to kill in multiplayer!

NOTE: They will hit every 0.25s, NOT every 0.35s, meaning they can kill you in 2.5s

NOTE: I forgot to mention Butlers can hear, which just triggers them to look towards the sound they heard

NOTE: I also forgot to mention that butler bees cannot be killed.

chboo confirmed that touching the butler will not trigger berserk because of a bug.

take a shot every time i say targetPlayer

I love this entire mob just being a joke on "THE BUTLER DID IT!"

I love the Butler putting away his knife when he sees a second player he’s like, “hey, hi! Ummm how’s it hanging? Um I’m just gonna sweep over here don’t mind me”

Basically a skin suit full of extremely smart carnivorous hornets

Hmm...
-comes out of a vent
-pretends to do useful tasks
-is clearly sus
-will only kill when his target is alone
-or when cornered
I do believe we have an impostor Among Us.

Little fun fact: The knife normally uses the exact same code as the shovel when hitting enemies or players, but butlers have a special condition which checks the hit ID of what hit them. If it is 5 (a knife), they will always take 100 damage, which is lethal.

the hornets that come out should treat the butler’s body as a nest

Butlers are honestly my favorite enemy right now. I love how they work.
The "caught red-handed" mechanic is so funny

Most normal Englishmen;

My first encounter with the a butler had me screaming as I ran away to the exit. One of my favorite first experiences, only second to the first time getting Masked

Butler bees are actually called mask hornets in game.

I just love the roster of enemies in this game. In addition to the standard alien-like enemies you'd expect to find in a game like this, we also have: Crackers of the nuts, ghost children, Jack-in-the-box (of death), and Whodunit butlers (ft. Bees)

4:22 scared the shit outta me

6:23 “You got games in your company?”

Zeekerss is a god damn genius when it comes to enemy AI

The 'one spot before murder' mechanic is going to be fowl for single player, youll have to drop all your items and run to an exit, or find a set of isolated doors to hold the butler off for a while, or defeat it and deal with the masked hornets.
i'd hope the long door opening time is intenntional

If two players are around, the butler will not attack normaly.

If a butler gets „caught“ by a player, he attacks them.

What if a butler gets „caught“ by two players?

I really love the butler's AI, it makes him feel like an actual murderous butler.

4:59 I love how he says “crime scene” since the butler just 🔪🔪🔪 a player

While I do find it hilarious that the entire enemy is essentially a giant reference to "the butler did it" trope in murder mystery stories I do still think this enemy had some missed opportunities with it. Like maybe it could serve as an opposite to the junk bugs and that you can't drop items on the floor around it because that "dirtys his work" so to say and it angers him. The butler enemy in practice is alot more simplified just being a serial killer  who's waiting to catch a player alone so it can commit it's crime.
