i love that you can hear the locomotive rev up at the beginning of this video

If someone's wondering why does it take so long for train to continue, it's because there's the change of locomotives taking place. Despite the fact that both tracks over this level crossing don't have any electrification wires and poles, Mäntyluoto rail yard which is located right next to this crossing however has been electrified. Because of this the situation is that while all freight cars have to be pulled or pushed by diesel locomotives (mainly VR Class Dv12) to/from the harbour itself until Mäntyluoto rail yard, they can be pulled by electric locomotives (mainly VR Class Sr1) further from there, but with this type of caviat seen in the video (freight cars in the middle of the pack will very often block the level crossing for further periods until locomotives have been changed).

This railway crossing only has KLD-43 bells in Finland. The train will stop
