As someone said Milly was played by Harley Quinn Smith, Kevin's daughter. The Mooby's manager that hooks up with Kevin Smith is his wife Jennifer. She played Missy in "Strike Back" and Emma in "Clerks 2". Logan Mewes, Jay's real life daughter, plays Amy (the daughter of Alyssa and Holden).

Stan Lee was supposed to be the "Kevin Smith" role, but he sadly passed away before filming began

Jay and Milly's chemistry is off the charts because he is her "uncle" Jason IRL. She has known him her entire life as she is Kevin Smiths daughter IRL.

Welp, if you cried at this one....good luck with the next. 😂

Kevin Smith basically made this whole movie to showcase his Friend Jason Mews who had beaten drug abuse and had accidentally become a great father (Kevin's words).

PS: I hope you caught the mid credit scene between Kevin and Stan Lee.. Stan was going to have a role in this film but passed away before filming. But Kevin has this great mini interview with Stan at Comicon.. really was sweet and funny.

Fun fact: I saw this movie in Spokane, WA during the premiere "tour" in early 2020. Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith had a Q&A after the film, where Smith hinted that he was writing the sequel to Mallrats. An audience member asked him if he was going to reveal that La Force (the security guard from the first Mallrats film) was Silent Bob's dad. Kevin Smith was so blown away by this theory that he asked the guy's name so he can include him in the Special Thanks in case he decides to put that into the script 😆

My nephew was an extra in this movie. He actually knows Kevin Smith. He works for a marijuana dispensory in California, and he met him during a promotional event they both were working on. Not like they are best friends, but friendly accountances, to hang out and talk to him and get a little bit of extra work. Lots of pictures of him with Kevin and Jason.

Silent Bob's Kl*n speech is a homage to Alec Baldwin's motivational speech in the classic film about desperate salesmen,  "Glengarry Glen Ross" (1992).

The Clerks cartoon is definitely worth checking out. It's only 6-22 minute episodes, so it'll go quickly.

even out of the formal universe Jersey Girl is a great family comedy, Zack and Miri Make A Porno is a funny R-Rated romcom, and Red State is a disturbingly well acted horror movie.

There are so many cameos in here, but just wanted to highlight a couple fun ones, Melissa Benoist played the female Jay in the reboot movie, and you might also know her as Supergirl from the WB show. Kevin Smith directed a few episodes of that show, and he and Melissa became fast friends, he offered her a part in the movie. Kevin also asked Chris Hemsworth when he was interviewing him at a Comic-con event if he would appear in his movie and he agreed. People can say whatever they want about Kevin Smith's movies, but the dude gets a lot of good will in Hollywood because he's a decent guy and nobody has a bad Kevin Smith story.

31:42 😢😢😢😢 RIP Kilmer you will be missed, you did an awesome bluntman, and to me you will always be a Batman, to others they will know you as iceman, to me you were vengeance you were the night. you were BATMAN!! 😢😢😢

The best part about this movie to me was how he listed all of the Background Actors / Extras in the credits. A lot of people put a lot of time and effort into films and studios won’t allow them on the credits. It was just a cool move on Kevin’s part

The little girl playing Amy is Jason Mewes real daughter.  I saw this movie in a theater wish Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes hosting it Kevin Smith sit in the audience and watched with us. This was a gift from my daughter . One of the best things ever.

The fourth wall break "Who would pay to see that" ... never stops being funny

The girl who played Millennium it Kevin Smith's daughter IRL. Harley Quinn Smith.

"Why is this making me cry?" Girl just wait for Clerks 3...

Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead is actually a good 90s movie
