"You are not a pirate" are the five most single crushing words in cinema history. :(

"Peter LaFleur has blinded himself!"
"Yeah, he will not be able to see very well, Cotton."

Jax being a former cheerleader makes perfect sense with how much cheer she has for every movie, I can see the good in every film but she takes it to another level and it's really fun to watch. As a former sports player who played many games of dodgeball in my favorite class, this movie is one of the best

Ben Stiller (White) and Christine Taylor (Kate) are married in real life, makes watching their scenes together even more fun.

One guy who never gets any recognition is the dude with the mustache who plays the referee. He plays the role 100% straight and he’s great.

A law is a rule established by a government, while a bylaw is a rule established by a community or organization. Laws apply across a jurisdiction, while bylaws apply within a specific area.

So there is some darkness in that sweet candy coated heart of yours?
I knew it.

When they shot the scene with the ball launcher Vince said after one ball he told them to turn the speed down because it was maxed out and no one would be able to handle that only to find out Justin had already been doing it for an hour before him 😂

Well, the last thing you want is an overactive beaver...

"It's a bold strategy Cotton. Let's see how it works out for them."
Dodgeball is one of my all-time favorites. The writing is so smart and funny and the casting was perfect, everyone killed it. The cameos were awesome, from William Shatner to David Hasselhoff to Chuck Norris. I re-watch this one often.

Ben Stiller played this villain perfectly, usually, he plays spineless losers who can't seem to stick up for himself without being a pushover

Jason Bayeman totally steals every scene in this movie. He's so freakin funny in this.

"When the film was screened to test audiences, the original ending had Average Joe's lose to Globo Gym in the final match. After the ending was viewed negatively by the test audiences, the sudden death match and Average Joe's winning the dodgeball tournament were added alongside White going back to obesity."

Another fun fact: The movie makes fun of how many ESPN channels there are by having the tournament on ESPN 8, "The Ocho". The executives at ESPN, instead of being upset, ran with the idea, and on their channels they have programming blocks for obscure sports under the name The Ocho.
