Michael was so good in 89 and 90. It’s a shame his team wasn’t ready yet because he sure was. Nearly beat the Pistons by himself in 90.

That reverse double-pump jam at 3:02 was classic MJ before 1st retirement

5 minutes in and MJ has a dunk, a 3, a turn around mid range jumper, a steal, 2 rebounds and 1 assist but it should have been 2 lol

This dude is the GOAT!

Back in 1990 Quinn Buckner said the Chicago Bulls need to get it going in the next week or so boy how they aka especially Michael Jordan got it going 6 NBA TITLES in 8 years

Greg Gumbel doing a Knicks-Bulls game. Classic.

To have Mark Jackson and Rod Strickland at the same time was truly a 2 headed monster at PG crazy The Knicks had so many gritty PG’s in the 90’s

I had this game on VHS as a kid, I think I watched this game every week until HS lol😊

Just Wish the NBA would go back to this formula. This Was real basketball at its Prime

Before the famous announcer Ray Clay and NBC getting the NBA contract.  Definite old school.  Thanks so much for uploading.

This was on WBBM-TV Channel 2 Greg Gumbel and Quinn Bucker on CBS Sports in 1990 [The last year of the NBA on CBS].

It still feels strange seeing Oakley in a Knick uniform because he was so much a part of the Bulls in his 3 seasons with them and I remember I wasn't happy at the time when he was traded and apparently so was Jordan but I'm not sure how true that is.

R.I.P. Greg Gumbel. I love watching Bulls-Knicks games from the Mid 80's thru the 90's. Great rivalry!!

WOOHOO JORDAN....

Quinn Bucker and Greg Gumbel are both from Chicago.

Thank you! ❤

Da Bulls 🐮

@34:15 a quick hit of the theme music...
