What a voice. RIP Lena

Rip lena 🙏 🎉

Unfortunatly ACEs(adverse childhood experinces) can play a big part on the mental well being of children .was born 72 and remember watching lena on tv .

Notice the agent was asked if she ever had children? Her reply that was never in my plan. There is the cause of the downfall of a world class star, in my opinion. Miss Lena had a great future ahead if only she had protection from grasping managers, that basically stripped her of her earnings. I hope the manager has a hot place as she came across as so cold, it is so lucky she did not have children, very evil person.

I blame the one been interviewed she sa it first her manager? She was another sherlie temple bless her 😢

She was a child, who had to grow up very quickly. 🤬

Love Lena. Rest in peace angel.
I think her doctor should've seriously interfered and taken her to hospital so that she could be fed properly with vitamins & minerals. She should've been under professional   supervision for a while.

God bless you Lena. Fly high with the angels xx ❤

Whilst the treatment of her as a child back then is deplorable, I think we have to remember once again it was a totally different time and blaming her father just adds insult to injury. Anorexia strikes anyone, anytime and chances are she would have developed it anyway if she has that genetic make up. The real tragedy both back then and still now is how little the general public know or understand this illness and this is born out in the slew of comments blaming everyone around Lena and not seeing the actual illness that killed her and continues to kill so many people mostly unnoticed. It's not a fad or desire to be thin even though it usually originates there, it is a deep rooted and absolute fear of food. So while this documentary is definitely a difficult watch in 2026, spare a thought for those still living and dying with this every day. Nikki Grahame lost the battle too. Beautiful people lost too soon ❤❤

The agents did,nt care one bit for this child She was treated as a cash cow

SHE WAS CLASSY

Shame she wasn’t protected 💔

The agent seems like an evil person

Being 78 I remember her rise to stardom and that amazing voice.  Sadly though, like so many gifted child actors/performers she was exploited.  That manager needs to take some accountability - as my mother would say "her bell is ringing out of tune".

Very sad story parents need to take part responsibility as for the agent well the video shows it all totally discussing how adults take advantage of a child

Emmmmm. Dorothy SOLOMON money always first

God bless

Im disgusted in the father and that so called agent .. they worked her into the ground.. I remember her massive star at that time .. no care or love ..

They literally ruined this child’s life between them. Lena’s mother reportedly struggled when seeing her perform on TV and no wonder she probably missed her daughter terribly. The mother was portrayed as a nervous alcoholic, reading between the lines her objections to her daughter being taken away were rubbished and she was the problem. Poor Lena she really didn’t stand a chance.

Her meeting frank Sinatra meant nothing to her.
