A very exciting and interesting race to watch but hardly worth the clickbait title.

What's weird? Horse was in the mood to race but wouldn't settle, so jockey allowed it to bolt clear in the hope that there'd be enough in the tank for it to hold on, which it did.

I guess they never watched Secretariat at the Belmont Stakes race.

Nothing weird about it at all, an entertaining, well ran race

'Differentiated' himself  did Calculus.

Still waiting for the weird bit

We trained Calculus and he was a tricky customer to say the least. He was by Frankel but did not inherit too much of his father's brilliance. In the race itself, jockey Kieran Schofield got run off with and obviously it was not the intention to go clear of the others. I can only think that he was given far too much 'rope' as he wasn't the bravest of horses, although he did look it on this occasion. He never won another race and even tried his hoof at hurdling, however he was found a good home after he retired. Great work horse at home but this was his only success on the track.

Calculus has a big heart like secretariat 😂😂

Very common - in Australia champion horse Pride of Jenni has won more than AUD 12 million using exactly similar tactics.

good on him, nice ride

About as perfectly timed as one would get

If he thinks this is weird then Secretariat 's Belmont Stakes race would totally blow his mind!!

what's a beautiful running race. Management thanks for sharing this race.

Great ride don’t know why it doesn’t happen more often

Nothing weird at all! Seemed a slow pace up the back and the jockey sensed an opportunity ... and was right!

bait suggested all the horses would fall over and possibly no one would win the race

Great ride though

Weird was what Frankel did in his 2000 Guineas win.

15 lengths clear at half way, and closed down to a few lengths at the finish

That's racing! 😎✌️

Nothing weird at all, horse wasn't really settling so the jockey decided to let him kick on, very enterprising ride & he mugged the other jockeys.
