Hey sorry members, this one finished a little late so wasn't able to get it out last night. Sorry about that. Copyright is annoying

I love the implication that the dinosaurs were all visionaries, so they all had to die.

Final Destination is a movie about Death’s intern trying to clean up his own mess before Death comes back from his lunch break.

These movies kinda get a little less scary if you imagine Death, not as this malicious, omniscient force but as an overworked, underpaid office worker with the messiest, most stress job ever, doing his damndest to cross his T's and dot his I's so the balance of the world doesn't go to shit. Dude just has a sadistic streak to him.

I feel like death favourite time was in 1600s since every time a visionary pops up and scream about seeing the future they are immediately burn at the stake for witchcraft, I bet death going "GOD I MISS THAT TIME PERIOD"

My thought with why she lived. She DID techically die but was brought back. She was treated as an eh good enough I’m tired of this group I want to get back to my main list of escapees.

"Imagine if you just gave people heart attacks with no history of disease..."

they would call the worlds greatest detective

I love Death slowly going crazy and not knowing if he is causing all of this himself or if someone is literally out to get him. Genius!

Death: Oh so this is the thanks I get for working overtime.
Hades (from Disney's Hercules): OVERTIME!

Death having a Mid-Life Crisis thinking he's washed is hilarious. I can only imagine his mental state when he has to make deals with people (in the books, some people want to live longer so they make a deal with Death to kill in his behalf so they can keep living... for only a little bit because the people that make a deal with Death have to kill people who were already about to die, so they have to keep killing people).

The frantic neuroticism of Death growing as these stupid apes keep foiling it is incredibly entertaining to watch. I would not be opposed to seeing how this plays out over the rest of Final Destination.

There is something intrinsically hilarious and terrifying about the notion of Death getting Tom and Jerry'd so incredibly hard that he starts losing his goddamn mind.

Death at this point has its own Conspiracy Wall.

Honestly, Death in these movies are just the devs of the simulation server stuck in bug hunting hell

Terminator from Skynet's perspective. Because how hard is it for a time traveling AI to kill a woman and a child in the 80's and 90's?

My head cannon is that these movies all take place in the Marvel Comics universe and Death is just an extremely neurotic lady with some big-chinned, purple stalker stressing her out.

It's no wonder she's slipping. Fucking Grimace can't take the hint that she don't care about his rock collection!

The fetal position on the ground because of existential crisis was the cherry on top, good job! 🤣

I like to think that this is the "too old for this sh*t" Death from Supernatural

Something fun my law school did as an exercise:  Death isn't doing anything.  These are actually freak accidents/defective products breaking.  Who should the estates/insurance companies go after, and what are their chances of winning?

I believe the director of these movies stated that these two are the only ones to have escaped death because she did figure out what she needed to do in the end, die. Because she technically died that fulfills death's design. Her coming back is a new life that wasn't part of it so death can't take her like before because this is new life completely detached from the old design, so now it has to create a new one.
