Hey, ive been watching you guys for some time and wanted to let you know how much of a difference you guys have made in my life. I grew up in an inactive family, so I didnt know a lot about the church and struggled understanding what the church was really about. I found you guys by accident, when I was doing a bunch of research on the church and you guys have helped me regain my faith! Thank you!

A god whose only requirement is that you not be guilty of Wrongthink. No thank you.

38:00 left the church at 21 and spent 8 years as an angry exmo. Slowly after my pre frontal cortex developed I thought to my self, “Maybe I didn’t really know everything about my religion and theology at 21”.  Probably be a good idea to actually look into the scholarship and history. My exmormon shelf broke after looking into “spiritual eyes”

To summarize: "You know what Christ taught you to do? Do less."

Evangelicals do a better job of converting people to the restored gospel than our own missionaries sometimes...

The antimormon rhetoric is ultimately what converted me , if someone can talk this awfully about something so genuine. Gotta investigate..

In the middle of Taco Tricks an ad popped up for schizophrenia medication. There are NO coincidences. 😅

The phrase I keep having to repeat when the Virgin Mary argument is brought up is that Jesus’s birth was a MIRACLE, one that left God as His Father and Mary as a virgin. How that happened is a miracle. I don’t have an explanation for that just like I don’t have an explanation for how God helped dozens of unfertile women in the Old Testament have children or how He parted the Red Sea. We all agree that a miracle is a miracle!

It’s crazy how we’ve gone far enough down the lds apologetics rabbit hole that most if not all anti Mormon claims are just utter BS lol, like I’m BORED now please give me something interesting to look into…

Reminds me of a tract I got while serving in West Texas. It said Jesus is the way, and by doing any good works, you'll go to Hell.

Ive always thought that saying "no creeds but christ" but as soon as you say anything they think is contradictory to the creeds, theyre all about the creeds... which is it lol

The whole "They keep trying to call themselves Christians now, the never would've done that 20-30 years ago" falls flat when most members of the church (In the USA) have been kicked out of, or know members who have been kicked out of Christian Clubs in high schools for at least 2 or 3 generations now for being members of the church.

About time someone called out Tacotalks. When I found out he was calvinist not too long ago, it made sense his approach. Only calvinists can determine what's abominable, not God apparently.

I just wanted to let you guys know how grateful I am for your channel. I’m a delivery driver so I spend tons of time in the car. I love listening to your videos during my shift.

Just here to learn more about different Christian denominations, thanks for the clear info and fun presentation guys! Also good to see you guys can have healthy disagreements and come to your own conclusions about what you believe.

"You're making me frustrated angry and mad."  "You’ve always been frustrated angry and mad you're eternal." Class!

Trinitarian churches are gatekeeping heaven with a massive double standard. They claim you must believe in their specific, complex definition of the Trinity to be saved, yet their own followers and young children can’t even explain it. It proves the system cares more about membership numbers and tithing than actual doctrinal consistency.

1. The Child Contradiction (The Age Argument)

If knowing the "correct" Jesus is strictly mandatory to avoid hell, then every young child or cognitively impaired person in their pews is technically at risk. But pastors never preach that their own toddlers are damned for not understanding ancient theological creeds. By giving their own kids a pass while using the doctrine to gatekeep outsiders, they expose a massive logical flaw.

2. The Ignorance of the "Flock"

Walk into any Trinitarian church and ask the average adult to explain the Trinity without accidentally committing a historical heresy. Most can't do it. How can an institution claim a doctrine is a literal matter of eternal life or death, but allow the majority of their own tithing members to remain completely confused about what it actually means?

3. Follow the Money

There is a huge gap between the terrifying consequences they preach (hell) and how casually they enforce the rules on their own members. If a church truly believed a bad definition of God sent people to hell, they would pause everything to fix it. Instead, the focus stays on fundraising, building programs, and keeping the seats filled. It’s about institutional survival, not theological purity.

"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness." — Matthew 23:27

As a former Catholic, I approve this message.

For some reason the same people who insist that Jesus is the only one who is eternal desperately want Mormons to be eternal so we can burn eternally in the eternal flames of hell. Oh ... for God's glory, of course. It's all part of being anathematized by the creeds, I think. 😢

If this is their idea of missionary work and bringing people to the truth, they are failing exponentially.
