This new tech allows K. Rool to duplicate his crown in Smash Ultimate. Not just that, but he can even use the second one as if it was a regular throwable item.

You have to add another crown to the projectile shirt now lol

@Chaud31423 1 year ago

Oh I get it, cause the crown is off the blast zone it is then tagged as off screen. Then it spawns a new one.

Tech showcases predate Smash Review on this channel, so I think they're two separate things even though Smash Review also had tech showcases. I like C-Five's explaining voice too.

The fact that this released right after Bananza revived king k rool is crazy prediction.

That's why I love video games communities and especially Smash, they keep finding new stuff years and years after release. Thanks for showing that cool trick!

@1:30 i completely agree, If you're up at least 1 stock and you're at high percent, it's worth it to sacrifice the stock for an extra crown

The normal crown on your head can never be picked up. the glitched crown can be picked up without first tossing your real crown. The spacing is tight though, so you can only use dash attack or f tilt properly spaced to pick the crown up. or fair if on plat along with the other two methods. Once you get it to spawn you can pick it up, no setup needed, just dont try to land on it, walk over it, or use nair since all of these will make it despawn.

I wonder if the discoverer of the tech just beat Donkey Kong Bananza, thought "huh, this K. Rool guy is pretty cool actually", and booted Ultimate immediately afterwards to lab him out 😆

Thank you for covering this tech! Reviewing tech and taking content from around the internet and putting it on youtube is something I miss about smash review, so thank you again for doing this!
