I’ve been using mine for about 3 weeks and I am in LOVE with this thing. Never have to go to an outside gym. I just hope it lasts years because it wasn’t cheap lol.

This machine also really exceeded my expectations... going to have my video of it up soon. That bluetooth ring is a complete game changer. Really making my GetRX'd cable tower get dusty now except for lat pulldowns.

I like the concept of this, and have been getting more and more interested in it as a bonus piece of equipment in the gym.

Nice video as usual, Chris.

Great review of major exercises

Great video, can you use any cable handles with it?

@jimdango123456 3 months ago

I will admit that option to start the resistance when you're in position is pretty cool. That is one definite benefit over free weights. That's one thing I hate about cables and dumbbells is getting to the starting position without killing yourself. I'm a die hard barbell and plates guy, but if this digital stuff ever drops to a reasonable price like a couple hundred bucks, I might give it a try.

Need that movement tier list

More videos on this machine 😊

I was thinking considering this for my personal training studio. I decided to go with the Voltra instead. So glad I did! I don't have it mounted on an upright yet but still get plenty of use out of it!

Great video mate... I would honestly LOVE to hear a review from you on HeavyDutyBar resistance band system (mostly with their upcoming Qdeck platform, as rollers are a big deal for resistance band training).. but I think that would be both different & I honestly think you'd like it A LOT.

works awesome for back if you know what your doing, and yes the bench is junk , i got and FA abx , do squats with the belt. during bench put the silver bar holders in the vertical sliders to rack . use the belt on the rower for leg presses

100% agree. The Speediance GM2 is awesome!

Review the Voltra

@ibelieveitcauseiseentit9630 2 months ago

Lol... You just now reviewed the gym monster 2 in next month they're coming out with the gym monster ultra. It'll have a pull-up bar, as well as a higher pull-down bar in a lathe bar to hold you down. As well as a bunch of other improvements. It will also have three anchor points instead of two and you won't have to move the pulleys you just attach the attachment to the floor the side post or overhead and then you can adjust them from there. It's also got a microphone so you can just talk to it instead of having to use the touchscreen.

I connected the GM2 to my Powerblock U90 straight bar to increase my deadlift load.

I hear ya. Got one Voltra a couple weeks ago after a couple years of denial. Only a few uses in but man it hits hard in a good way. My Ares 2.0 only gets used on fly movements since I don’t have two Voltras. Mounted it on plate loaded machines too. Still really like my Ares but it is mostly chilling. We shall see…

Love the review planning on buying it and I’m probably the target novice home lifter. Got adjustable dumbbells and while they are great and I can do a good amount of the basics. Do to work schedule this filling out good amount of what the gym would do for me. I think having it at home will really outweigh the added benefit from joining a gym.. at least right now

Can you show the clean and the snatch? What changes does Speediance need to make to make these movements useable on their machine, perhaps faster retraction? Would it be possible to do this with just a software update or are hardware improvements required?
