AS A 30 YEAR TEACHER I AM SOOOOO INSPIRED BY YOUR CLASSROOM.  GOT SOOOOOO MANY GREAT IDEAS!  THANK YOU!

I’m going through a period of watch classroom tours rn. I watched your newest one and HAD to come back to this one to see the difference. I love how you repurposed so much of your decor. For my second classroom, I attempted to do the same. You can see the resemblance in my tours

When I taught (I'm retired now), it never ceased to amaze me how much of my salary went into my classroom.  The district RARELY bought anything and the classroom budget was $200 a year for pencils, paper, erasers, scissors, glue, crayons, etc. U ended up spending about $300 per month on classroom supplies (including the ink for the printer I had to purchase myself).  That was in addition to the start-up budget for wall decor and supplemental materials, including books for the required classroom library.

The general populace regard teachers as little more than expensive baby-sitters (my own EX-husband used to sneer and say he didn't understand why I was tired, as all I did was play with children all day).  They have no idea how much of our personal salary goes right back into the classroom, or is spent on holiday gift baskets, clothing, etc. for the indigent students in our rooms.

When you were explaining your light sensor issue I thought to myself "I'd probably just start throwing things across the room to turn the lights back on" 😂😂 sometimes standing up is just to hard

I love how clean and simple your classroom is! It feels modern, but still so inviting for students. I just found out I have these same triangular desks in my classroom next year and I hated them at first, but they look nice in your room so maybe they'll grow on me :)

The gray is very calming on my screen I can only imagine how at ease your students will be when they are in your classroom. You really did a great job.

This is the NICEST classroom i have ever seen in my life ! You go girl !

Omg! You're classroom looks amazing! Very comfortable and home-y. The grey is mellow and soothing and the yellow makes it pop just enough. This has to be the best one so far. You've really out done yourself. My favorite thing about your classroom, is the simplicity of it. A lot of times teachers can go overboard with their decorations and it's way to much stimulation. But this is literally perfect ❤️ Bravo 👏🏾

I absolutely love your classroom! I’ve been looking at room tours for weeks now cause I am a soon to be teacher! I’m in love with the color scheme and how clean and simple it is! You’ve created a really fun space to learn and your students are going to love it! You’ve definitely just got a subbie💕

I love how you and Liza spent time working in each other's rooms! I really love your decor in your class and your home! Your room shows so much effort and I know the kids really appreciate that! I was also excited to see a parent helper as well!

I adore the colors in your room

LOVE, LOVE, LOOOOOOOVE your room.

The classrooms turned out great! Glad I was able to help.

your classroom is one of the most amazing creations i’ve ever seen! looks awesome!

Your room is AMAZING! You're inspiring me to get out of bed (on a rainy day) and head to my classroom:)

Omg! Love how your classroom looks 😍😍😍😍. It's so welcoming and the colors are soft and not to busy to the eye. You did an amazing job. You put a lot of hours in making your classroom look this great. Liza's room looks nice too. I also like her color scheme.

Wow! Great job ladies...very calming and organized. What a great experience for your students. What a blessing to have such great friends to help you. What a blessed little angel Miss Genesis is! Have a great school year!

I'm commenting at 2:41pm EST.  So that would mean your morning is coming to an end and your short school is swiftly moving along. I'm absolutely sure that the kids LOVE their new class!!!! So soothing, yet inspiring- a great place to foster learning.   I recall you mentioned that the vlogs will decrease in frequency, but I can't wait to hear about your first day!

Absolutely gorgeous! Have fun this year.

My mum is a teacher and I helped her make chill out cards for the teepee in her room. So the idea is to make a card (hand made or professionally, ours was handmade by me) and every time a student is good she’ll hole punch the card and once you’re card is fully ‘punched out’ you can chill out in the teepee or have the comfy chair at your desk for the day and you’re card resets. My mum has lots of cards besides the chill out card like her teacher for the class card where a student is given a sheet of paper (after the card is full) which is the lesson and they can choose whatever class they want to teach and loads of others card. It would be great if all teachers used this but some may think this is spoiling the students but it really isn’t lol. Love your vids 💕💞
