I’ve seen French people describe Jodie Foster as having the cultured educated accent of a professor at the Sorbonne, her French is that classy.

I def find it funny that both English 'squirrel ' and French 'écureuil' come from the same source, but both give the opposite speakers trouble 😂

There’s a clip of Storrie giving a full on monologue in French in one of his short films. It’s mind blowing

French girl here to. Shakira's accent is so cute. It's like she's a little girl talking. It really does change in contrast with her accent and tone in spanish.

I'll never get tired of hearing Jodie Foster speak French 😍

I didn't know Luke Thompson spoke French, and so well! It's ironic because in the latest season of Bridgerton, he is famously terrible at French. He acted a bad French accent so well, I believed it!

Connor Storrie's Russian is superb. If I didn't know better, I'd have thought him a native speaker. His Russian was acquired by daily four hour lessons for one month. It kills me that he could sound as good as he does in such a short time. I saw an interview with him recently in which he said that if he hadn't become an actor, he would've become a linguist, because he loves languages.

I love to hear Luke Thompson speak French.

Diane Kruger also speaks an insane french, native level.

Jodie Foster is even more interesting to listen to in French than in English. I don't know if it's because French journalists ask her more interesting questions, or if she just feels more at ease speaking about things that interest her to a French audience. I am completely fluent in German, French and English, since I grew up and studied in all three. I know I feel as if my personality shifts a little depending on which language I'm speaking. German and French are far more precise languages In English, especially North American English.

What I love about that interview with Connor Storrie (apart from the joy of watching him trying to decipher our Quebec expressions), is that he's ''thinking'' in French, if that makes sense! The fact he only spent one year in France and picked up the language at that level in such a short amount of time is truly impressive! I really hope we have plenty more occasions to hear him in French!

It would be funny if Matt LeBlanc could actually speak French really well.

I am learning French and caught a mistake of mine by watching this video. haha. When I was in Paris last fall, someone asked me if I spoke French and I replied "Un petit" instead of "Un peu". ☺

Luke Thompson grew up in France so happy that he scored so high.

This is a very old clip of Mr. Brando. Later in life, he was much more fluent.
Connor Storre’s French was great! Canadian here and oui… bibitte for bugs, LOL

Clooney's pronunciation is...regrettable. Shakira's is pretty damn good despite her small mistakes.

As a longtime French student, I enjoy watching Angela Davis, Serena Williams, Jodie Foster, and Jane Fonda speak in French. I have been studying French since childhood. I still speak with an accent and make some mistakes with tenses and grammar (ahem the subjonctif!) but I try to speak and practice as much as I can. French is such a gorgeous language and it is a pleasure to learn.
