BACK TO 1987 ─ The 80s Morning Glow // Retro Synthwave • Vaporwave • Warm Memory Mix

Some nights, the world feels a little too heavy, and all you want is to disappear into a softer time.
This music isn’t here to impress anyone. It’s for the people who stay awake at night thinking about the past, the ones who miss old memories, old feelings, and the quiet magic of the 80s.

Lay down on the sofa, close your eyes, and let the melodies take you back. Back to childhood memories, late summer sunsets, old cassette tapes, and moments you thought you had forgotten.
Maybe it reminds you of someone you once loved, a place you can never return to, or simply a version of yourself that no longer exists.

For a little while, let yourself drift through those memories.
And maybe, somewhere between the music and the nostalgia, your heart will finally feel a little lighter again.

Born in 1973, We grew up in the ’70s and ’80s—no screens, no tracking, no safety nets.
We disappeared after breakfast, came home at dark, and learned life the hard way.
No save buttons. No filters. Just scraped knees, real friends, and earned freedom.

That era didn’t make us soft.
It made us ready.

Born in 84 in south Brazil. My God, what a good time to grow up, no cellphones, no social media, we played on the streets, going in front of the houses calling out for our buddies, playing footbal (soccer) in the rain.....really miss that simplicity. This sound transported me to these days....

80's and 90's were peak humanity. I feel sorry for all the people born too late.

I was born in 78. Just in time not to miss the 80s or be too young to really enjoy it. 87 I was 9 and actually got to play in the streets and not come come home until the street lights came on. Im glad I didnt miss it. I miss it so much. Best generation ever ❤❤❤

Maaaaan, that background image and this music playing is really doing something for me. Having grown up in the 80s, its a bittersweet feeling, but I'll take it. You can almost smell that crisp morning air, and hear your friends on their Huffy bikes coming to get you. You hear the knock on the door, shut off the Nintendo, and spend that entire day adventuring. Not a care in the world. Thank you for this upload...truly.

I'm going back to the 80s and 90s, who's with me?

Born in a village in India in the 60s, I had no electricity but enjoyed long evenings with dim light, fresh milk, goats roaming around, and compassionate people. Rode buffaloes in ponds, pulled sugarcane from trucks, skipped school to go to movies, played hockey all day, wrote love letters but never delivered 😅. Absolutely unforgettable time.

Every time I listen to tracks like this, it sparks new ideas for my own sound. Feels like I’m onto something big.

To my brothers out there keeping it real and pushing through the storms of life, I raise my glass to us all, along with prayers of strength and peace.

those born in the 70s were luckiest, they actually experienced the 80s fully. I was born in the 80s and experienced childhood in 80s/90s.

Dad had decent stable income and I could enjoy those two decades thanks to them. Economy was good and friendships were pure.

I can still hear the echoes of those friends I'll never see again and friends that have been with me since childhood. still remember the faces of my young parents.
The sound of the lawn mower in the morning and smell of freshly cut grass in the summer or fresh chilly morning dew.
The silhouette of us walking through the wheatfields after school with our school bags slung over our shoulders to get home during the autumn late afternoon sun.

good times!

Born and raised in Los Angeles in 1974. Reminds me of arcades, my first gaming system(NES), ice skating, skateboarding, my GT BMX bike, video movie night at my neighbors house, riding in the back of pickup trucks, roller hockey with friends, treehouses, WWF wrestling, Showtime LA Lakers basketball, shopping at the mall, the toys(HeMan, Transformers, MASK), MTV, weirdly waterbeds, etc… Life was simpler, but no question the best era I’ve been blessed to have experienced!✨🙏🏻✨

The best retro mixes make you forget what year it is, and this definitely does. 🕰

I wish it was possible to transport an entire civilization to a certain time period. That’d be awesome to bring everyone back to the 80s before all of the distractions
