I was loving it, the outside, the porches, the French doors, all the windows. Walking through the front door smack into the kitchen that has 0 storage just hurt my heart.

I would swap the kitchen and the dining area.  I'd also have a stove insert (wood or gas) for the fireplace.  Otherwise it's a functional plan.

Love the wrap around porch and the wood accents as well as the corner fireplace. I would switch the kitchen with the dining room as I wouldn't want guests to see the kitchen right away. Nice open plan with possibilities.

Love the wrap around porch but the kitchen is missing a food cabinet or oantry

This is a nicely styled home. I see entry storage, which is much appreciated. The living room reminds me of these new tiny homes you see everywhere that consist of a sofa and a telly (maybe remove the fireplace and use a smaller insert along the wall facing the sofa). Having the kitchen be the first thing you see upon entering the home isn't ideal for me, but it's not the hugest deal. One of the bedrooms appears to have a large closet with a very small doorway to access it, which would limit its utility. The kitchen island seems too small for purpose, with limited prep space and having a sink right at the edge could be asking for trouble. In a house this small, is island seating a priority when the dining room table is so close? A rethink of the common areas may allow for the elimination of the hallway and a means to reclaim that space. A lot of potential here with some tweaks.

Despite not having a private bath or actual master suite, I really like this one. The front of the house is so open and airy. It’s so bright and the layout flows better than many designs I’ve seen (not many of yours but of others) The colors, the wood accents, the arched entrance…  this is a really, really, really adorable house. 😘

I really like this, especially the wrap-around porch and the dining area...BUT entering from the front door directly into the kitchen is a little too weird for me!

Awesome

Beautiful house. I'd consider a powder room left of the front entrance. No pantry, so I'd get rid of the island seating and the associated knee space and voila!, a pantry space. People can still stand at the island if they want to interact with the person cooking. I understand the skepticism regarding an island sink, but this is the arrangement I have in a house and it works well, certainly better than island cook tops. I'd use the French doors as in the walk-through, omitting those in the living room. The corner fireplace solves the TV over the FP problem; I'd go a step further and use a smaller stove. I'd stack the washer and dryer to gain a linen closet. The small front bedroom doesn't need 2 bedside tables for a twin bed. I actually had a queen platform bed with 18" suspended tables in an 8' x 10' bedroom in a Chicago apartment, and it worked, but here I'd use this room as an office with a desk integrated into a wall bed for guests. I love the outdoor spaces in this plan.

This is a cute home, but I would not build it personally. It needs a half bath. Otherwise it has everything a person could need unless a larger bed is going in that second bedroom.

Too many windows for me, one single one per room is all that I would want, as is, I would feel as if I were living in a fish bowl...

I don't like walking straight into the kitchen.

too much wasted space
