Since this is such an important part for a plane to take off, I’d say that from connecting to disconnecting from it, that the driver gets two hours worth of pilot’s pay. 🎉🎉
I was today years old when I found out the tugs literally LIFT THE NOSE GEAR completely off the ground to move it, that is so freaking awesome! For some reason this whole time I was imagining it was one giant, rigid bar or something attached to the axle to push back. This makes so much more sense! Thank you for this perspective!
