Looks way more comfortable then Economy class.

The part that got me was how calm everyone looked. Meanwhile, I'd probably be sitting there questioning every life decision. 😂

Jump light turned Red at 3:50. Quick reactions to stop the last man from jumping.

Gives me chills. My father is in Arlington, 82nd, Normandy....

My Army recruiter asked if I was interested in jumping out of airplanes. I said only if it's running out of gas and it's my only option

I was part of Italian Para Regiment in ‘89, we used to jump from C130 and G222, the best for me was being first at the door as squad leader. Good memories

Its wild watching them come out that massive plane

At my first reenlistment, I ALMOST chose to go to jump school. But since I was already having back issues, a friend who was a "jump master," talked me out of it.

I went  through jump school in 83, I never jumped from an aircraft this big, but this still brought back some great memories.  My favorite jumps were chopper blasts, the adrenaline rush was amazing.

Big respect for paratroopers and submariners. 2 jobs I just cannot do.

No way I could do that.  Too scared of heights I admire anyone that does that

Growing up we lived on a horse farm in NC.  We could see the Ft. Bragg drop zone from our deck. All the time. Night or day. The flairs at night were cool. You guys are amazing. Thank You.

God Bless you all.  Thank you for your service.  Stay safe and come home soon.   ❤️🤍💙❤️🤍💙

I'll never forget my first jump in Airborne School.  Tight position, counting 1000, 2000, ...and at 3000 and a half, the chute opens.  I'm looking at my feet and I see the airplane (a C-123 Provider).  Freaked me out until I realized once the chute opens, your body swings like a pendulum back toward the airplane.  I was planeload commander which means you jump first.  I also weighed a whopping 127 lbs.  First guy out of the airplane and almost the last guy to hit the ground.  That was 1979 and the aircraft was an Air National Guard aircraft.  (First jump was supposed to be out of a C-141, but they aborted halfway though the jump due to high winds in the Drop Zone.)

Badasses.  Every one. Godspeed.  Oh, thanks aircrew.  You rock too.

Son made three overseas trips in C17s to Afghanistan and Iraq with 82nd Airborne after 9/11. Jumped out of a couple, too. And yes, they jump with all that stuff they are carrying!

Looks way more comfortable than those old red net jump seats.

看他們是那麼無所畏懼、令人尊敬！ 軍人是防衛自己的國家的，還是希望世界和平， 不要隨意戰爭！

In ‘95 a few guys in my unit went to California for a fun jump to show off the capabilities of the C17 and a lot of people got KO’s by the pack trays trailing behind. 😂

I've been across the Pacific several times in the C-17.
