This is my biggest video on Minicons in the Aligned Continuity of Transformers! The main focus here is on Robots in Disguise but I refer to Transformers: Prime, Rescue Bots, Rescue Bots Academy, and the book Transformers: Exodus. Fixit is the focal point of this essay video but I do talk about Slipstream, Jetstorm, Laserbeak, and Servo as well.

Sound wave is probably the only deployer who actually respect his cassettes, because this is the aligned he has more feeling expressed in WFC and FOC

The minicons remind me of the pities/forklifts from the Disney Pixar Cars universe, they do so much work and are hardly ever appreciated and treated like expendable equipment I feel so bad for all of them.

Would be interesting to see minicon combiners passing as normal cybertronians to fight for ther model rights

imagine the most well know combiner teams becoming minicons,respected heroes and villain but in models that would be seen as lessers

The Alighned continuity showed discrimination amongst the Autobots, proving that the system the Decepticons was originally founded to fight is still there, though not as corrupt. This is why I liked the Aligned continuity.

From everything I've watched, the only Mini-cons that were seemingly intentiomally written as "children" were Back and Forth. Quillfire says that "The Revolution is in good hands" to them and they act like little brothers happy to get the approval of their elder.

I would argue TFP Laserbeak's lack of personality actually works. Soundwave already feels more like a drone than the rest of the Decepticons; it would only make sense is Laserbeak is the same. He's the Decepticons' only surveillance drone(That we see at least) at the end of the Cybertronian War so most of the faction only view him as a weapon. Thats why the subtle relationship we see between Soundwave and Laserbeak in TFP is so beautiful and goes over the heads of so many during a first watch

If the universe was written differently, Minicons would be viewed as dependable allies who anyone should be lucky to receive the extra assistance of if the Minicon so chose. That was the whole reason Primus created Micronus in the fight against Unicron! And all Minicons are supposedly taking after him. Yet, RiD goes the path of discrimination without resolution. It's incredibly frustrating.

Its especially frustrating in RID 2015 the minicons are basically servant slaves because the show takes place AFTER the war ya know the war that was fought entirely to END the system that bots didnt have a choice in where they worked? And corruption in general???

Imagine if another sequel series set after Rescue Bots Academy focused on the Mini-Cons having a revolution and history repeating itself as they go to war with the larger bots.
