Reverse Engineering software was considered so difficult to do because it would be so time consuming and costly to understand data that’s 20 plus years old. It wasn’t because the barriers of protection was hard, it was because the amount of ancient and useless data has always BEEN the wall of security.

Now? Just push a button and all that “security” is gone.

And we won’t know if it was Russia, China…or a 16 year old in his bedroom doing it.

Thats the scary part here.

Peak doomer video. I would take whatever wins we can get despite the inevitable shortsides, given that we the people lack the will to destroy every data center in the nation. I get your anger with the apathy and everything, but my stance is always that if you aren't going to be an actor for change, then I don't think you have much place to criticize others.
