Fun fact no one knows what that painting of chronos is actually sopossed to represent. The painter suffered from mental illness and the painting was found post mortem. We just assume it's cronos.

I don't think Bill is pure evil since he was born; more that he was an immature, selfish person that made a horrible mistake when he was young that continued to stunt his growth for all eternity. He wanted to be special and prove the third dimension existed (at least in my reading) and tore his universe apart. Honestly no wonder he's insane.

headcanon: Bill being erased in Grunkle Stan’s mindscape set off his PTSD of the exact day he “liberated” Euclydia , and there were blue flames involved

Calling this show a game changer is not wrong because after plot twist that change everything climax episode like "Not What He Seems", a lot of cartoon begin to make their own version of that episode like how Ducktales have the heartbreaking "The Last Crash of The Sunchaser", Owl House has the darkest "Hollow Mind" and even Cartoon Network show like Steven Universe have this kind of episode "A Single Pale Rose". Showing the big impact that Gravity Falls has give toward modern cartoon....

People argue over whether Harry Potter is satanic or not, but a children's cartoon having non-subtle Illuminatti references is not disturbing

Am i the only one who thinks we need more smart, secret coded children's tv series? This stuff makes you even more interested in history and religion.

9:52 My personal favorite theory for what bill did was that he used his pyrokenesis to light the sky on fire to prove that it existed, which backfired by killing everyone in his dimension. However, this is pretty much just speculation with the only real evidence being the line "Blame the arson for the fire." in the Axolotl's poem.

It’s always interesting hearing about the free masons when you know some in real life

How you took every part of The Book of Bill to explain all these elements and Bill's backstory was sooo nailed, man! 👌 I sure hope next time you do more of the respective lores of Amphibia" and "The Owl House" at some point!

There's a lot of mystery of what Bill Cipher is, what he's capable of, why he's doing what he's doing, and of course knowing what the backwards message before being punched by Stan really means. What we know is that Bill Cipher is a scary dream demon and he'll play us like puppets literally.😯😬

Man Gravity Falls, was a bit bit of a turner for me like knowing what secrets or what their secrets can harness every episode like a mystery of tales

6:16 Imagine Bill meeting a flat earther

@JohnHayward-c6r 1 year ago

Oh knowing bill he thinks he’s above attachments and have no regards for his crimes
But that’s not true ( even though there’s a lot)
But I believe bill is traumatized and can’t go back to the way he was sure he likes being evil but since the book reveals so much his character makes him a bit sympathetic and hard to sallow if read into history there’s more than dark humor and craziness

Honestly, I HC like the AXOLOTL is a being of pure energy that can basically shapeshift but it takes the form of an axolotl because it finds them cute

@shootingstarssel4182 1 year ago

It'd be cool if you did a deep dive on the Myths that inspired Disney's Gargoyles. From what gargoyles represent, the story of Macbeth, the 3 witches, and anything else the story showed.

Have to admit, I haven’t watched Gravity Falls in a long while, but when I heard you reference the BoB (Book of Bill), I couldn’t resist being fascinated by all the references and nostalgia. 😁

In my opinion, Bill wouldn’t and couldn’t except mercy, but if he truly thought about his actions, I bet he could be forgiven. I’ve read a few fanfic that actually put that idea to good use. 😅
