Hi, it's me, the Witch King. Just letting you all know what we're up to.
We survived the fall of Sauron and work for Peter Thiel now.

Their greatest power is definitely their ability to create terror and despair in their enemies. One of the big themes of Tolkien's writings is the power of both hope and courage, that even those who are weak can triumph if they remain hopeful and choose to stand against darkness.

Who are The Nazgûl?

It's actually just the members of Slipknot trying to be subtle.

I love the idea that the shadow games have of having isildur being one of the nine, having the man who defeated you be forced to serve you in death would be perfect revenge for Sauron

A video on Denethor would be great.

An hour and 30 minutes of my favorite characters from Lord of the Rings? Amazing

No, the Black Numenoreans weren't people who were part of the 9 ships of Elendil. There had been Numenoreans associated with the King's Men who had made colonies in places like Umbar long before the reign of Ar-Pharazon.

In the film, Merry breaks the barrier with his dagger that allows Eowyn to kill him. Merry didn’t “distract” him….

Personally, I think they were so tied to Sauron that they had to be clothed by him. They were just so fully tied to him by the time of Lord of the Rings.

Get behind me, this video is beyond any of you!

I think they had to go back to Mordor not merely to be clothed, but to report that the Ring (or at least Baggins), had gotten into Rivendell.

I think Khamul got the most confused in daylight because when he was a man he had the best intentions. So light drew him slightly back to that and confused him.

For replacement gear, the 9 would need to get their mounts from Sauron, because regular horses wouldn't be able to tolerate their presence.

For their robes? I suspect that their inherent powers would be awfully hard on standard clothing, and it would start deteriorating fairly quickly.

You make interesting and well produced videos. But this format is bizarre. You’ve slapped together multiple videos into a longer one, but with limited editing of the individual parts. So you’re left with a video with odd pacing, a ton of repetition, and an into and outro for each portion. Theres great information in each individual video, but when they are all forced together, you realize how much overlap in information there is between the pieces. I really enjoy long videos, but I do think that more thought/editing going into these compilations would go a long way.
