What did you think of Revelations?

That thumbnail is amazing ✌️🥹

“And so, the Age of the Slayer began. He would rip and tear until it was done. For his battle would be eternal.”

Doom slayer's rage truly manifesting after the death of Daisy is now even more understandable.

I enjoyed the bits of nuance in Marok's characterization.
He didn't agree with way the Slayer was being used but he didn't want to kill him, only to try to find a better way.
And if you read his logs, he never actually trusted the Khan's words or intentions, which is probably the reason she had so much difficulty with his tether.

Also I think it's really interesting to compare him to Weems, 'cause they're almost like twisted reflections -- they're both higher-ranking officers in Taggart's chain of command who don't approve of his actions.  Where Weems was unreasonable while being tempered against his will by his superiors, Marok was more reasonable yet corrupted against his will by the beings above him.
And in both case the Slayer has to overcome them (by punching them both in the face, no less!) in order to set himself on the path that the games we've already seen have laid out for him.

On a side note, the preview artwork IS PEAK

One of your best  videos yet! I can't wait until the full DOOM timeline is remastered with the new context Revelations gives us!

You dont understand how hyped it was reading Taggart's codex pages and the very final one you get in the dlc where you read the night sentinels and deag priests preparing a raid in hell. That amount of foreshadowing is crazy.

I love the way the different cultures across the doom verse clash.

52:23 is probably my favorite moment in the entire DLC. It's great seeing Flynn's trauma resolved so he can continue fighting. So badass.

Excellent video as always.
Poor Marok didn't deserve that.😢

Those that created this modern Doom universe are truly gifted in their respected craft.

There is something in the Dark Ages that I and many others have found. The wierd slugs that can be found in hell are exactly the slugs that are hiding underneath the fat Khan. Now here is the fun part, they Seraphim and Khan Makyr herself do not really have angel wings but moth wings.  It all makes sense, the slugs in hell feed on the souls and death, then they combine and transform into new Seraphims. Just like the real life insects: butterflies and moths. There is also an Easter Egg inside Osseys level where you can find these slugs and then a giant makyr slug appears.

The Henchman defeating Doomguy was his and hells biggest.

OH HELL YEAH!

Yayyyy I was waiting for you to upload about the DLC, hope you’ve been enjoying it

Why is doom guy so damn good looking

Thank you Skyrionn for an hour long DOOM video. You have no obligations, but your videos are super helpful for when I'm trying to sleep or do anything in the background like studying

One thing : the henchman said something like `he sees through us` and `forged in pain his strength now whole` maybe confirms it`s Davoth himself who place the spear and commands the high council to put slayer into purgatory imo
