The rulers don’t start at the end to avoid loss of precision due to wear or damage, it’s a feature (ask an engineer) .
This channel looks like fun, I may stay a while 😊

That is not a crappy ruler, it's a rule and is meant to not start at the very end. Starting at the very edge the rule would become imprecise over time due to wear. I do love how the layout is coming along.

go big or go home....was the best advice i was given when i started into this hobby.....love it, love it, love it!.. you put on the big boy pants and swimmin in the deep end. loved the vid on your backdrop also (golden buzzer)

I like your idea with the rods to give it height. Now I am thinking of using that to add more layers to my layout. 🤔

You need a Rule instead of a Ruler. Measuring will start immediately from the flush end. Thanks for the layout updates!

For the Threaded rods you want to double up on the nuts between the panels, that way you can lock them in place, if you dont, over time the washer will move due to vibrations and cause your layout to move down.
