so this is the first of my video essays to go kind of viral, and i guess that means im definitely doing a video on fnaf lore at some point

Yandere Dev likes his girls the way he likes his game. 11 years old and still in development.

The game’s lore is the literal definition of putting the cart before the horse, except the cart is also backwards and flipped upside down, while the horse is dead from malnutrition.

Fun fact: a better version of this game does exist!

It's called Hitman. Just use an anime girl skin mod, and it's Hitman.

I feel like info chan’s original purpose towards helping ayano was the most compelling, info chan used to be the president of the newspaper club in the beginning of her development, she wanted ayano to murder her rivals to have more compelling material for her newspaper that students would want to read because people assumedly died or went missing. I think it’s stupid how yan dev changed info chans motive to something more vague

There is now new lore about ayanos grandmother being a demon hunter, and how the basu sisters mom is involved?? Also a big rock? And superpowers? It feels like YandereDev wants to create something else besides YanSim but can't, so he just shoves whatever new concept into the game

These names are killing me. Greatest Corporation's CEO, Greatest First Effort, named his daughters First Girl and Goddess, and sent them to Academy Academy to study along with Green Green.

Info-chan being the final rival was supposed to be the original ending.
Which would have been perfect if yandev kept the game simple with a simple plot instead of this comically complicated mess. You kill 10 girls with a crush on senpai, info chan is the final boss, yan-chan knew it but still worked with info-chan cause she planned to eliminate her anyway.
Yandev feels like a 14 year old making his first oc lore.

HELP ICHIKO NAMING PEOPLE IS SO FUNNY CUZ LIKE

"oh your name is ____? well you have big melons and in america they call that wife material so your name can be Mai Waifu"

I still remember when there was an undertale reference and Toby Fox asked him to remove it. Good times.

About nemesis- shes actually hanako (taros little sister) and hellbent on killing her brothers killer (in a timeline where ayano kills him and gets away with it) this dumb game haunts my dreams

"Inappropriate power dynamic age gap girl but with incest too" WTF is going on in this game 💀 😂

Everytime i see Oka Ruto (the shy, creepy love interest) i get super sad because she's going to be stuck in this hellhole of a game

I remember trying to leave the school and getting a weird static screen, and immediately thinking: 'Oh my god, this game is gonna end up being literally in a simulator.' With how wild all this lore is, I would not be surprised.

I saw a theory that info chan is just getting revenge for her father because it is heavily implied that the detective from the 90s mode is her father who got his career ruined by ayanos mother i think it's the one the makes the most sense framing ayano for the same crimes her mother committed and got away with but this time she gets arrested and there's "justice" thus proving her father was right in past about ayanos mother and family

I never understood why he just didn’t keep the game’s story in 2014/2015… It would have been so much less work, especially regarding the lore 😭

Adding weird WW2 japanese nationalism shit into your funny meme anime girl game is... certainly a choice.

Eugenics portion was wild

You can tell that a lot of the lore in this game is based around something Alex just thought was cool at that point in time. Like the whole thing with Fungirl is clearly just Alex looking at Undertale and thinking the W.D. Gaster stuff was really cool and going "I'm gonna do that in my game too". A lot of the weird, random lore was Alex getting distracted from the actual game to chase after a shiny and like. Ok, I get that, I do that a lot too because my ADHD just be like that but like. I haven't wasted a decade of real time procrastinating on a video game I was supposed to be making

27:58 I genuinely think YanDev forgot that A) Osana was supposed to be the easiest rival to eliminate and B) the game already punishes you for killing Osana right away if you aren't super careful. The delinquent students spawn way behind everyone else, so they would see the body, and you can't move the body to the incinerator without the entire school seeing. You could drag Osana away, but there's still the issue of the blood, which you're also covered in. Plus if you do get away with killing Osana, school atmosphere and Senpai's sanity drop, which depending on your run could be a punishment (assuming the game ever gets to the point there's an ending).

Also Raibaru is the worst band aid fix to his problem. If he didn't want players to kill her right at the start, have a group of students spawn as the conversation ends, then the player won't want to kill Osana due to there being witnesses that results in a game over
